Catechism for Children

During the school year, children meet in the church hall on Sundays following the 9:30 AM liturgy. Please contact Fr. Ireneus for more information. / Під час шкільного року, катехизація для дітей ведеться українською мовою після недільної св. Літургії в 9:30 год. ранку. Звертайтеся до пароха, о. Іринея, за інформаціями.

Weekly catechesis in English for children gr. 1-5 takes place at 11 a.m. in the church basement catechism room on Sundays during the school year.  During the 2022-2023 year, it was led by Lara Coleman. To register for the 2023-2024 school year, please contact Rebecca Visser for more information or to be added to the email list.

During Covid (2020-2022), children in grades 1-5 picked up workbooks at church and completed weekly lessons at home, with the help of their parents.  During lockdowns, there were also weekly Zoom meetings at 10:00 AM on Sundays led by Olenka Galadza, before the 11:30 Divine Liturgy, for all children. These lessons covered the Sunday gospel and any relevant feast days and liturgical seasons.
