“Saints” Young Adults Group

To live the life in Christ is to grow in holiness, to become a saint. St. John the Baptist’s young adults “Saints” group is focussed on growing in our Eastern Christian faith through regular talks and reflections and through times of fellowship. Together we journey with Our Lord Jesus Christ and each other on the path to becoming saints. Our goal is to provide a supportive community for young adults in our parish, along with ongoing faith formation.

In the past, we have had a series of talks on the Divine Liturgy, and the Creed. Currently, we have our “Cinema Divina” series, in which we view and discuss films with Christian themes during supper, typically on the last Saturday of each month after 6 p.m. Vespers.

Presently, we have about 50 young adults, ages 19-35 on our mailing list, and are looking for more. If you are between 19 and 35 years of age and are interested in joining Saints, please contact Fr. Dcn. Andrew via email at apwbennett@gmail.com.
